How to make vegetable sweet corn pulao recipe:
Ingredients:
4 cups of basmathi rice 3 tablespoons oil
1 large size onion sliced
1 medium sized carrot sliced
1 cup sweet corn
green chutney
1/2 cup coriander leaves
1 to 2 tablespoons red chili powder
1/4 tablespoon turmeric powder
salt as required
For masala spicies:
1 tej patta leaf2 green cardamoms (yalukalu)
3 cloves lavanga
1 inch cinnamon (dalchini)
2 javitri
1/2 tablespoons cumin seeds (jeelakarra/jeera)
1/4 tablespoon black pepper
For green chutney:
1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves2 chopped green chilies
1/2 inch chopped ginger
3 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon coconut
1 to 2 table spoons for grinding
take a pan or kadai and add 3 table spoons of oil
how to make pulao recipe:
- take a rice bowl and rinse rice well with water then add that rice to pressure cooker and soak it into enough water for 20 minutes and keep aside.
- while rice is soaking, remove the corn kernels from corn cob and keep them aside.
- for green chutney paste take above mentioned ingredients in a mixer grinder.
- add all ingredients to grinder and grind them (20 to 30 sec) until it gets smooth paste you can also add 2 to 3 tablespoons of water.
- keep aside that green chutney paste.
- now take kadai or pan and add 3 tablespoons of oil with low flame.
- add sliced onion fry them for 2 to 3 minutes with medium flame.
- then add carrot and fry them for 3 to 4 minutes with medium flame.
- now add chutney and corn to that mixer and stir them well.
- then add red chili powder and mix well.
- now add all masala spices which are mentioned in ingredients for masala spices.
- stir them very well for 2 minutes.
- then add turmeric powder and mix well.
- now switch off the flame and add this mixer to the rice.
- mix all ingredients with rice stir it once very well
- now add salt to this mixer and mix it well.
- now close the pressure cooker lid and put it on stove for 4 whistles then switch off the flame.
- now take that rice into mixing bowl and mix the rice very well.
- now the tasty vegetable sweet corn pulao is ready and serve it hot with paulao gravy.
