How to prepare tomato dal recipe:
Ingredients:
1 teaglass tur dal (kandi pappu)
1 sliced onion1 large tomato
1 tea glass kandipappu
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon tamarind
Salt as required
How to prepare recipe:
Take pressure cooker, add dal to cooker and wash it water once.Add two tea glasses of water to dal keep it aside for 20 to 30 minutes.
Now add sliced onions, tomato and tamarind.
And also add turmeric powder, red chilli powder.
Now cover the cooker with lid and keep it on stove with high flame for 1 whistle.
Then after keep the flame into low and wait until to get 5 to 6 whistles.
After that switch off the flame and make it to cool by itself.
Once it's cooled open the lid and add salt as required then stir it as smooth as you want.
Now add pop to dal. Serve your tomato dal with hot rice.
